Cub-O is the most popular orienteering event in North America. Almost 35,000 youth and adults have attended since 1998. Units can make it a day trip or a weekend camp. Dens can compete hard or take an easy, fun hike in the woods. Both options are a great opportunity to teach youth about map reading, problem solving and strategy.

Cub-O is an orienteering event for all ages. Lions, Tigers, Cub Scouts, Webelos, AOL, leaders, and parents are invited. All participants receive a contest map and patch. Separate awards for each age group. Check out the Cub-O article in Scouting magazine!

Schedules and specific information will be announced closer to the event. The Longhorn Council website will be updated as details are finalized. Campsite assignments and other important details will be emailed two days prior to the event.

We look forward to seeing you at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch for Cub-O 2023!
