Scout Membership

Membership dues and registration fees are necessary so there is enough money to cover the expected costs of providing a quality program. BSA dues cover program costs and liability insurance for our scouts.

Scout Life Magazine

Scout Life is an optional magazine for all scouts ages 7-17, and is a great tool in the education and enlightenment of their lives. Includes articles on nature, science, sports and hobbies that cater to the needs and interests of young people everywhere. Engaging and entertaining short fiction and poetry also highlights this outstanding publication.

Pack Activity Fee

The Pack activity fee covers the scout's Class B shirt, costs of advancements like rank patches and belt loops earned through scouting, as well as the costs for your scout to participate in our events such as the Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquet, and other Pack events.

Class A Uniform

The class A uniform includes blue shorts or pants, blue shirt, belt and hat, neckerchief and slide. Your scout will receive the next rank neckerchief and slide at Crossover. The pants and shirt are the same for all ranks of cub scouts and can be worn as long as it fits. Check scoutshop.org for current promotions.

What other costs can I expect?

Some special programs and outings or Council events which are open to scouts but we are not attending as a pack may have additional costs. There will also be additional costs for each adult and/or sibling attending events.
